| Centre for Rural Development (CRD) has been recognised as one of the Regional Awardees (East) in the medium category of INDIA NGO AWARDS 2008 by the Resource Alliance & The Nand & Jeet Khemka Foundation. CRD's Executive Director is COMMACT India member, Dr Pradip Sarmah.
CRD was also awarded a Special Recognition for The Rickshaw Bank Project Innovation.
